Pulse Coatings was established in 2002 as the commercial arm of a pioneering metal coating procedure that was formulated in a top secret military bunker. Whilst specialising in mechanical and electrical components, in the past we have coated a wide variety of objects including small vehicle parts, machine tools, industrial metal works, watch parts and unspecified military equipment. Furthermore we can assist with a number of domestic metal coating needs. Our unique and pioneering coating processes include Military Grade Titanium Coating [MGTC] and Graphite Particle Coatings [GPC] and include a range of colours, finishes and options.

Our Services – Pulse Coatings
Pulse Coatings offer metal coating for a variety of objects. The practical benefits of this process include enhanced durability and toughness, as well as full resistance to scratching and rusting.
The process is also suitable for items with moving parts and mechanical extensions such as watches, aerospace components, sensitive military equipment and much more.
We are capable of coating items of up to 150cm in length by 100cm height and 50cm width.
An additional benefit of the metal coating process is the option of re-colouring.
Our coatings are available in a variety of colours and feature a smooth finish making them suitable for application to display items.
Military Grade Titanium Coating | MGTC
Our Military Grade Titanium Coating (MGTC) process has been developed in secret over several years in a highly secure facility. It was originally conceived for military and aerospace applications, yet the process also has several benefits in industrial, medical and domestic settings. The MGTC coating is usually between 1 and 4um thick, although this can be increased if necessary, with a hardness of up to 2300Hv and a melting point of 2800°C. This results in increased fatigue and friction resistance, temperature and chemical resistance, as well as a greatly enhanced durability. These properties make MGTC suitable for all manner of items requiring extreme durability and toughness, such as landing gear, aerospace engine components, compressor blades, watch parts and pharmaceutical manufacture.
Aesthetic Benefits
The MGTC process is available in a number of colours. Completed surfaces are smooth, highly scratch and chip proof and require no further coating. The coating also provides full resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 800°C.
Graphite Particle Coatings
Graphite Particle Coatings [GPC] is a newly-developed means of coating items with an enhanced protective surface. The result of years of advanced research in a dedicated laboratory, GPC coatings provide high grade strength and toughness and have been designed to withstand material depletion and weathering with a near-diamond level scratch hardness of up to 9h. The coating formula has also undergone extensive heat testing and provides a thermal barrier capable of offering protection from extreme temperatures of up to 500°C. This enhanced durability and temperature resistance make GPC suitable for a wide range of applications including watch manufacturing, industrial machinery and tools, as well as medical, military and sports equipment.
Graphite Particle Coatings are robust and extremely hard-wearing with a very high resistance to both temperature and most solvents including motor oil, ammonia, paint stripper, gasoline and butanone. We offer a full coating process for both individual components and machine parts, as well as for larger items of up to 1.5m³.

A number of colour options for GPC coatings are available through our special order service. The one-time application process results in a smooth finish that is highly resistant to flaking, chipping or scratching, ensuring that GPC is highly suitable for objects intended for display or presentation.
